Group Dog Training Classes – From Foundations to Advanced Skills

At Cultured Canine Dog Services, we offer structured group dog training classes that are designed to suit dogs of all experience levels, from puppies to adult dogs. Whether you're just starting out or looking to fine-tune your dog’s skills, our classes provide a supportive and social environment where both you and your dog can learn, grow, and have fun together!

We offer three levels of group classes to meet your dog's needs and progress:

Beginner Level – Perfect for Newbies

Our Beginner Group Classes are designed for dogs that are just starting their training journey. This is the ideal class for puppies and dogs who have little to no prior training experience. During this course, you and your dog will learn the basics of obedience and communication in a calm, supportive setting. We’ll focus on:

• Basic cues (sit, stay, come, down)

• Leash manners and loose-leash walking

• Socialization with other dogs and people

• Building focus and attention on you

• Preventing common issues like jumping and chewing

• Leave it & Drop

Our Beginner classes provide the essential foundation for a well-behaved dog, setting you up for success in your training journey!

Intermediate Level – Building on the Basics

Once your dog has mastered the basics, the Intermediate Group Classes are the perfect next step. In this class, we continue to refine obedience while introducing more advanced cues and skills. You’ll work on building reliability and consistency in your dog's behavior in a fun, social group environment. Topics covered include:

• Advanced obedience cues (e.g., "leave it," "place," "heel")

• Emergency stop & Send to bed

• Distraction-proofing – Training your dog to stay focused in busy environments

• Improved leash walking and off-leash training techniques

• Improved impulse control in exciting situations

• Continued socialization with other dogs and people

 

The Intermediate class is great for dogs who are ready to take their training to the next level while having fun and making new friends!

Progression Level – Mastery and Beyond

For those who have completed the Beginner and Intermediate levels (or dogs with prior training experience), our Progression Group Classes are designed to take your dog’s skills to the next level. In this class, we focus on mastering advanced behaviors and addressing more complex training challenges. This is perfect for dogs who need extra practice or are ready to refine their skills for real-world situations. You'll work on:

• Advanced obedience under distractions

• Off-leash reliability in both controlled and open environments

• Problem-solving for specific behavior issues

• Body awareness 

• Trick training, retrieves & scentwork

Our Progression classes are ideal for dogs that have a solid foundation and are ready to thrive in new and exciting environments.
